The storage, provision and processing of the substances needed in the production processes is an essential key to stable, successful and efficient production. All substances have different characteristics and peculiarities which have to be taken into account. The capacities and the way of working, as well as the necessary high availability play a major role. Through our many years of experience in this field of work, we create the optimum overall system configuration for you with the "right" components.

• Conveying - belt, worm, chain, vertical and vibratory conveyors
  The various components for transporting bulk materials are always adapted to the individual application. Often the operational requirements make special egg constructions necessary, such as the Küttner vertical conveyors or large gassing belts for blast furnaces.
• Grinding and classifying
  In the industrial production processes, the material flows are repeatedly burdened by contaminants that should not come into the process. The material does not have the right grain size or it is too fine. Küttner offers solutions for these tasks with individually designed shredding, grinding and sorting systems, combined with the sieving stations for coarse or fine material. Thus, only the desired material comes into your process.
• To store
  Küttner designs all forms of storage of raw materials, intermediates and end products, taking into account individual properties such as flowability, protection against moisture, inerting or even capacity.
• Dosing
  The production of substance mixtures and the targeted addition in metallurgical processes are among the most important parameters of successful plant operation. Here, Küttner offers the entire range of weighing and dosing technology in all capacity ranges.

Coal preparation gives Küttner limited know-how in the handling of fine-grained substances:

• Grinding and drying coal
  A prerequisite for optimized coke replacement by injected fine coal is a reliable and stable process for processing the raw coal in terms of moisture and grain size. We have tried-and-tested concepts with corresponding components that reflect our more than 35 years of experience with technology for optimized operation.
• Pneumatically conveying | dense phase
  Küttner's more than 35-year perfecting of dense phase conveying offers several advantages over a system with lower density when conveying fine-grained substances. Only in this way is backward and pulsation-free conveyance possible over long distances, with the best measuring and controllability and low conveying speeds in the entire system in the range of 5 m / s and thus in a region in which the wear comes to a virtual standstill.
